Plant-Based Savory Cheesy Pasta


  • 6 ozs Laura's Plant-Based Ground
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Rotini or elbow macaroni
  • 1 1/2 cups Grated cheddar cheese
  • dash Hot sauce
  • 1 tsp Fresh parsley (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste


1. Place a large skillet over medium heat.  Add the olive oil, then crumble the ground into the skillet.  Cook the ground, breaking it up as you go, until it is thoroughly cooked, about 5 minutes.  Add the paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder and stir to combine.
2. Add the water and milk then bring to a boil.  Add the pasta and cook, stirring frequently, until the pasta is fully cooked, about 8 minutes.  Add more water or milk if the pasta becomes dry.  Remove the pasta from the heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes, then stir in the cheese and hot sauce until melted.  Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
