One of our favorite seasons is here - that is fall! We have some simple tips that will help you get inspired without breaking the bank! Now, the great thing about decorating for fall, is that one look will take you through the tailgating, Halloween and Thanksgiving seasons seamlessly… no need to be too holiday specific of course. By using the natural beauty of fall nature, you can easily and inexpensively decorate your home. Pumpkins, pinecones, gourds, fall foliage are just a few of themes that can get you inspired! Here are a few decorating ideas to get you going.
Bring Fall To Your Table
Give your dinner table settings a pop of seasonal color by pairing simple white plates along with bold orange napkins. You can also add thin stemware for a rustic yet elegant look.
Pile Them Pretty
Here’s a quick and easy decorating tip. Group your favorite tiny pumpkins on a side table! That's it. Don’t worry about creating the "perfect" ensemble. The idea is to make it look carefree with an unintentional seasonal touch. So pretty yet so simple!
Pumpkin Arrangement
Buy your favorite pumpkin and pick your favorite plants or flowers that are in bloom… violas, red and green leaf lettuce, thyme, rosemary and pansies are a few that work wonderfully. Clean the pumpkin with disinfecting wipes. Cut a hole at the top and scoop out the seeds. Fill up a plastic bag with potting soil and place it in the pumpkin. Add your favorite plants or flowers and there you have it a beautiful arrangement!
Add Some Warmth
Bring warmth to your home with easy to make mini pumpkins and votive candles. Buy some cute mini pumpkins and cut a 1-inch-wide circle into each pumpkin. Scoop out the center with a spoon and drop in votive candles. How easy is that?!
Love For Leafs
One thing that’s in abundance during the fall… leafs! In all colors and sizes. All you have to do is pick brightly colored ones that catch your eye. Moisturize them with a lotion on the front and back – let them dry. This will help preserve their color and shine and also avoid curling. Once they’re dry, simply scatter them on any table or around a centerpiece, maybe even on a fireplace mantle.
There you have it! Enjoy.
