Slow Cooker Beef Stew

Cook time: 4 hours

Ingredients
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
2 pounds Laura’s Lean Round Steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
3 carrots, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 pound small (1 to 11/2-inch) red potatoes, cubed
1 (8-ounce) container sliced fresh mushrooms
1 (6-ounce) can tomato paste
3 cups low-salt, fat-free beef broth
1/4 cup dry red wine

Directions
1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; coat beef cubes in flour mixture. Place in a 4- to 6- quart slow cooking. Add carrots, onion and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours or on high heat for 4 hours.
