Korean Beef

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Chill Time: 1 hour
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Stand Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
3 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 pound Laura's Lean Round Steak

Directions
1. Whisk together soy sauce and next 6 ingredients in a small bowl; pour over steak. Marinate in the refrigerator 1 hour, turning bag occasionally.
2. Broil steak on rack of a broiler pan (with electric door partially open) 3 inches from heat 5 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Let stand 5 minutes. Cut across the grain.

Grilling Directions

1. Grill steaks, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350 to 400 F) about 5 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness.

Makes 4 servings.

Cooking Tip: When you buy fresh ginger, select smooth, firm, unblemished roots. Slice off just what you need from the root. Peel away the brown outer layer and working against the grain, chop, grate or slice the fibrous flesh.
