Because of naturally occurring variations in beef, even healthy beef, individually packaged steaks and roasts will vary to some degree from the nutrient content on the label. The Nutrition Facts below represent the average nutrient content of Laura's Lean Beef production, in accordance with USDA regulations.
The following healthy beef products (highlighted below in red) have been certified by the American Heart Association: Laura's 96% Lean Ground Round, 96% Lean Ground Sirloin, Sirloin Steak, and Beef Pot Roast Au Jus.

What Do We Mean By Lean?
Based on the government’s definition, for a food to be considered “lean,” it must contain less than 10g of fat, 4.5g (or less) of saturated fat and less than 95mg of cholesterol per serving.
To be classified as “extra lean,” it must contain less than 5g of fat, less than 2g of saturated fat and less than 95mg of cholesterol per serving.
