I’ve taken some “artistic” license because I wanted “chopped steak” (lean ground beef) with the flavors of Jarlsberg and ham. For this recipe, I make the patties, pan sear them, make a sauce to gently simmer the patties in (the sauce has the ham in it), then finish each portion with just a touch of cheese.
