What fabulous tasting Laura’s Lean Beef dish can you put together for a quick and healthy meal?
Here’s what I have to work with today:
Pasta
1 pound Laura’s Lean Ground Beef
Tomato Puree
Italian Seasonings
Fresh Mozzarella
I will make a skillet “lasagna” dish. Cook the pasta. While that cooks, I’ll brown the ground beef, stir in the tomato puree and the seasoning mix and bring it up to heat. When the pasta is done, I’ll add about 2 cups (I’m cooking for six with this dish) to the skillet, stirring it in. Finally I’ll grate the mozzarella and sprinkle it on top, place the whole pan under the broiler until the cheese melts. Add a big salad, and dinner is on the table!
Now I challenge you to go have a look in your refrigerator and your pantry. Right now.
